Talisker RNLI Lifeboats Single Malt Scotch Whisky 10 Year Old
Out of stock
A special edition from the Isle of Skye distillery created in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, celebrating the courageous work of the UK’s lifeboat crews.
The whisky highlights Talisker’s signature coastal character — smoky peat, sea spray salinity and peppery spice — balanced with gentle oak influence and rounded malt sweetness from time in wood. As part of a charity-linked release, it’s designed to reflect both the distillery’s rugged island style and a tribute to the lifeboat service that guards the surrounding waters.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark coppery amber with bronze-gold highlights, a burnished, sun-warmed glow.
Nose
Maritime smoke with sea spray and brine; Talisker’s signature peat and peppery spice rise on the nose. Subtle iodine and kelp mingle with warm oak and rounded malt sweetness, evoking sun-warmed driftwood along a rugged shoreline.
Palate
On the palate, waves of smoky peat roll with brisk sea-salt tang, edged by peppery spice. The maritime grip softens as sweet, malt-led notes emerge, guided by a gentle oak backbone. A creamy, coastal sweetness lingers, mingling with smoke and brine before a dry, returning finish.
Finish
Long, maritime finish of smoky peat and sea spray, salt-kissed and peppery, with gentle oak and caramel-malt sweetness broadening the fade. A final whisper of vanilla coats the tongue as the coastal breeze lingers.
