Coastal peat and smoke crown a deeply aged malt, wrapped in sherried fruit and oak. Dried fig and raisin mingle with dark toffee, vanilla and a touch of cocoa, while brine, sea spray and iodine lift the aroma. Subtle spice and toasted almond tail off, leaving a regal, time-softened sweetness.

Palate

Silky yet robust, this Springbank unfurls peat smoke mingled with rich sherry. Dried fig, plum and cocoa ride atop vanilla, toffee and toasted oak, while saline coastal notes and iodine keep it coastal-briny. Mid-palate spice, coffee bean and leather emerge, resolving to a long, warming finish of ember smoke and mineral salt.

Finish

Long, maritime finish with gentle peat and brine, slowly releasing fig and raisin from the sherry cask, intertwined with dark chocolate. Velvet oak and vanilla add a subtle sweetness as the smoke tapers to a refined, lingering warmth.
