Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany depths and a burnished tawny core, edged by subtle ruby highlights.
Nose
Opulent sherry-drenched aroma: raisin, fig and ripe red fruits unfold with dark chocolate, cinnamon, and toasted oak. A touch of leather and caramel adds richness, while a subtle maritime salt lifts the fragrance, hinting at Campbeltown’s coastal character.
Palate
Sherry-drenched and richly earthy, the palate unfolds with fig and prune, black raisin and dark chocolate, shaded by caramel and orange zest. Spices, cinnamon and clove rise against a subtle peat-smoke, while toasted almond and rich oak add depth. Velvet and full-bodied, the finish is long, with savoury leather, spice and lingering sherry sweetness.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfolds with rich sherry sweetness—fig, raisin, dark chocolate—made radiant by vanilla and cocoa nib oak. A touch of coastal peat and spice lingers, delivering a warm, velvety thread that slowly fades to saline, caramelized wood and espresso echoes.
