A 12 year old Scapa that was part of Gordon and Macphail's Distillery Label range. This particular bottling is now no longer produced.

The nose is gently smokey with vanilla, grass and leather. The palate is fruity with mango, orange and wood char spice. The finish is soft with a milk chocolate note.

Scapa
(SKAA-pa) Scapa was founded in 1885 on the shores of Scapa Flow near Kirkwall, making it one of Orkney’s long-established distilleries as well as one of the most northerly in Scotland. Scapa is one of only two distilleries on the island of Orkney, offering a stark contrast to its neighbour, Highland Park. Unlike the peated style of Highland Park, Scapa produces an unpeated whisky matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, resulting in a lighter, creamier, and fruitier profile.
