Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with a sun-kissed golden core and copper-tinged edges, a warm, inviting glow.
Nose
Juicy malt, sultana, sticky dates, creamy and buttery toffee, nutty sherry oak, touch of clove spice, fruitcake, oranges in sherry trifle sponge.
Palate
Buttery roasted nuts, creamy praline, honey on brown toast, clove and nutmeg, juicy dates, sultana loaf, ginger nut biscuits, old sherry oak.
Finish
Spiced toffee apple lingers with dark honey on brown bread, mocha and praline, ginger cake and smoked almonds, drying into antique furniture oak.
