Ultra rare bottling for the Italian market from the 70's with imperial measurements. No age statement but probably an 8 or 10 year old. Please take note of the shoulder level on this bottle.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Pale straw with golden highlights, a soft, honeyed glow.

Nose

An ethereal, perfumed nose of orchard fruit—green apple, pear and lemon zest—woven with soft heather and beeswax. Subtle sherry influence adds raisins and almond, while a warm honeyed sweetness lingers. A delicate waxy mineral note threads through, inviting another breath.

Finish

Sherry-kissed and delicately floral, the finish reveals dried fruit, almond and cocoa, a soft hint of spice, and a gentle oak that lingers into citrus zest.

(Rose-BANK) Famous for very high quality, triple distilled malt, Rosebank Distillery can be found on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. With the exception of war time closures, Rosebank distilled until 1993 when it was closed, seemingly for good. Naturally over time bottlings have become scarce.
