Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany undertones and a copper-gold shimmer.
Nose
Opulent and warm, the nose opens with toasted grain, vanilla and toffee, deepening into sherry-tinged fruit. Dried fig and raisin mingle with orange zest, cocoa nib and almond paste, while wisps of cinnamon and clove lend spice. Luxurious oak support and a subtle barley sweetness create a heady, refined aroma that hints at rare cask strength richness.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, this grain whisky coats the palate with luxurious depth. Dried fruits—raisin, fig and date—layer with toffee, vanilla and almond from the oak, while dark chocolate, orange zest and warm spices emerge. The finish is long and refined, with oak-driven complexity and a gentle peppery bite.
Finish
Extending and luxurious, the finish coats the palate with vanilla and toffee, backed by deep oak and a gentle spice. Dried fruit lingers, with a final sigh of cocoa as the cask-strength warmth slowly fades.
