Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
A delicate wisp of smoke lifts to reveal a lush chorus of Manuka honey, prickly spice and bourbon-esque red liquorice.
Palate
An indulgent melt-in-the-mouth malt, sublimely silky and honeyed with oak, then a hefty second wave of spice. A cloudy, smoky veil coats the palate, leaving a tidal surge of dry molasses, peaty soot and a touch of copper lingering.
Finish
Light, lingering finish with a subtle copper thread emerging as the smoke wisps away. A smoked mocha note unfolds, warmed by delicate, intricate spices that leave a refined, lingering glow on the palate.
