Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with warm honey tones and a subtle bronze edge.
Nose
A delicate hint of smoke opens to a honeyed bouquet of Manuka honey, prickly spice and bourbon-esque red liquorice.
Palate
Melts on the tongue with profound flavours crashing in like waves: initially silky and honeyed with oak, then a bold second wave of spice. A cloudy, smoky veil coats the palate, yielding a tidal surge of dry molasses, peaty soot and a coppery tinge.
Finish
Light, copper-toned finish gradually reveals itself, with a smoky mocha note lingering alongside delicate, intricate spices.
