Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Caramel and vanilla mingle with a delicate sweetness of heather honey and sweet oak, slowly opening to fresh mint, dried hay, custard and the zest of ripe mandarin.
Palate
On the palate, toffee-laden richness coats the mouth, with cream and dark fudge providing plush sweetness. Dark fruit notes emerge—apple, pear and peach—alongside toasted pine nuts and homemade butter shortbread. The finish stays bright and polished, a harmonious balance of confection and nutty-biscuit warmth.
Finish
Remarkably clean and fresh for its age, this finish glides with vanilla, caramel and a whisper of mint. It extends into a long, refined fade of custard, toffee and subtle fruit, leaving the palate refreshed and elegantly persistent.
