Tasting Notes
Nose
Demerara sugar and rich custard lead, joined by the playful sweetness of fruit jellies. Subtle rubber and sawdust-like notes sit beneath the sweetness, while ripe stone fruits emerge with time.
Palate
Honeycomb wax provides a coating texture, followed by stewed plums and floral plum jam. Mature wood adds grip and structure, while the oily texture allows the fruit and sweetness to linger.
Finish
Honey on toast gives way to zesty citrus pith, adding a gentle bitterness that balances the earlier sweetness. The oak softens gradually, leaving a warm and composed finish.
