North British Infrequent Flyers Single Ozark Virgin Oak Cask #7134 Whisky 33 Year Old · 1992 Vintage
In stock
The Infrequent Flyers range is a series of independent single cask bottlings from the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, created to showcase distinctive and often unusual casks from distilleries across Scotland. Each release highlights the unique character of an individual cask, with selections often coming from distilleries or cask types that are rarely seen as single malt releases.
Bottled in small batches or as single casks, Infrequent Flyers whiskies are typically presented without chill filtration or added colouring, often at natural cask strength, allowing the whisky’s full character and personality to shine through. The name itself reflects the rarity of these releases - whiskies that appear only occasionally, offering enthusiasts the chance to experience something a little different from the ordinary.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany undertone.
Nose
Warm baked pears mingle with lush marzipan, delivering a creamy, orchard-sweet aroma. Dark chocolate notes surface, evoking a Bounty Bar—rich, indulgent, and cocoa-kissed, rounding the bouquet with a subtle, confectionery edge.
Palate
A big slab of Battenberg cake with a Sicilian patisserie note of cannoli shells; a kiss of star anise and lush honey.
Finish
Extends with graceful length, a honeyed glow and faint vanilla oak caressing the palate. Notes of almondy marzipan, dark chocolate, and a kiss of star anise linger, while a waxy, baked-pear fruitiness threads through to a velvet, refined finish. Rich oak breathes softly, leaving a long, sophisticated sweetness that gently fades.
