Deep amber with mahogany undertones and a copper-bronze glow.

Nose

Walnuts and almonds form a nutty, inviting aroma, with toasted dark bread lending warm, comforting depth.

Palate

Dried oriental tobacco, roasted nuts and coconut, with maple syrup and warm bourbon on the palate.

Finish

Sweet and sour, light black tea, custard, cornflakes.

(North BRI-tish) North British was founded in Edinburgh in 1885 by a group of independent blenders including Andrew Usher, William Sanderson and John M. Crabbie, with production beginning in 1887. The distillery was created to break the grain whisky monopoly held by DCL, which gives it a particularly important place in Scotch whisky history.
