Palate

Silky and medium-bodied, it coats the palate with ripe red fruits—cherry, raspberry and plum—layered with vanilla, cocoa and a hint of leather. Subtle spice from the oak—clove and cinnamon—emerges as the wine-cask finish adds gentle tannins and a touch of drying lift. The finish is long, fruit-forward, and warmly polished by the French oak red wine cask.

Red-wine finished, this whisky unwinds with dark cherry and plum, layered with cocoa, vanilla and soft spice. The ex-French oak adds velvet tannins and a wine-kissed sweetness, delivering a long, graceful finish that remains warm and subtly oaked.
