Distillery Bottling
Nc'nean makes a big impression with the smallest footprint. Every bottle is certified organic, made in their verified carbon neutral distillery and bottled in a 100% recycled glass bottle. Made from organic Scottish barley whose natural yields and rich soils contribute depth of flavour. The gentle fermentation and distillation accentuate the delicate, fruity flavours in the spirit. Matured in specially treated red wine and American whiskey barrels to develop the spirit’s signature body and sweetness.

Colour

Rich, deep amber with coppery sheen and a subtle ruby glow.

Nose

Bright red-fruit bouquet of raspberry, cherry and plum rises with gentle elegance. Red-wine cask influence brings vanilla, caramel and a kiss of spice, while American oak adds toasted wood and subtle structure. The nose is polished, fruity and inviting, with a quiet sweetness underpinning the aroma.

Palate

Silky, medium-bodied, with orchard and red fruit—apple, pear, cherry and raspberry—backed by creamy vanilla. Red wine cask brings plush fruit and subtle tannins; American whiskey cask adds gentle spice and structure. A balanced, fruit-forward palate with warm, oak-softened sweetness and a lingering, refined finish.

Finish

Silky, long finish lingers with red-wine oak, vanilla and caramel from the cask. Dried berry sweetness unfurls into gentle spice, with warm, refined tannins slowly fading into a soft, enduring impression.

Founded by Annabel Thomas, the distillery project began in 2013 after she left her job in London, with several years spent raising funds and building the site before production started in 2017.
