Nose

Opulent, sherried nose of dark plum and raisin, fig and orange zest, layered with treacle and cocoa. Rich leather and tobacco join roasted malt, warm spice and a kiss of oak. A candle-lit, molasses-sweet fragrance that hints at smoke and Mortlach’s signature bold, meaty depth.

Palate

Opulent and powerful, this Mortlach coats the palate with a dense sherried fruitcake core—fig, date and black treacle—woven with dark chocolate and orange zest. A waxy, full-bodied texture carries peppery spice (clove, nutmeg) and polished oak. The finish is long and warming, with tobacco, leather and balsamic notes lingering.
