Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich amber-gold, glinting with copper highlights and a whisper of mahogany.

Nose

Floral, fruity and honeyed, with hints of fudge, while lemon rind cuts through to balance the sweetness.

Palate

Warm apple pie on the palate, with sugared flaky pastry, cinnamon warmth and a silky vanilla ice cream finish.

Finish

Silky, long finish of warm apple, cinnamon and honeyed pastry, fading into vanilla and a kiss of oak, with a bright lemon rind whisper lingering at the edges.

(Milton-DUFF) Miltonduff is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky distillery near Elgin in Moray, founded in 1824 by Andrew Peary and Robert Bain. The site had previously been connected to illicit distilling and was originally part of the Milton estate, with the distillery taking its name from the Duff family who owned the land. It later became part of Hiram Walker in 1936, linking Miltonduff closely to Ballantine’s blended Scotch whisky.
