Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Sherried, opulent bouquet of dark fruit—fig and raisin—lifted by orange zest and cocoa nibs. Toasted almond and vanilla weave through rich oak, with whispers of leather and cigar-box spice. A refined, lingering sweetness from the cask coats the nose, hinting at the whisky’s robust character.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this 58.7% Highland dram coats the palate with sherry-dark fruit—raisin, fig, prune—layered with cocoa and orange zest. Spices unfold—cinnamon, nutmeg, clove—beneath polished oak. The finish is long and warming, with a touch of leather and dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with sherried richness — dark plum and fig melt into cocoa, orange zest and toasted almond, lifted by wisps of spice and oak. The warmth remains velvet-soft, fading into a refined vanilla-cocoa whisper that lingers.
