20 year old Bourbon released by Michters as part of their limited release offerings.
Using stocks of whisky sourced from an undisclosed distillery, this whisky has been aged in fire charred, new American White Oak Barrels. Michter's master blender Pam Hellman pays particular attention to barrels aged 17-20 years as these are deemed to have potential to produce extraordinary levels of quality and as such these casks are hand selected. Intense notes of black cherry, rich molasses, honeysuckle, roasted pecans, toasted charred oak. Bottled at 57.1% ABV, this is bottle 66 of 463 released.

Colour
Deep amber with mahogany undertones and a coppery sheen.
Nose
Opulent dark-fruit bouquet: black cherry and molasses meld with honeysuckle, while roasted pecans add depth. Toasted charred oak threads through, leaving smoky, caramelized warmth that hints at extraordinary aging and refinement.
Palate
On the palate this 57.1% bourbon unfurls with opulent richness and restrained heat. Black cherry and dark molasses weave with honeysuckle’s floral sweetness, while roasted pecans lend toasty, nutty depth. Toasted charred oak threads through, delivering smoky spice and a velvety mouthfeel, finishing long with caramel, oak and lingering fruit.
Finish
A long, dignified finish where dark cherry and rich molasses coat the palate, followed by roasted pecan and toasted charred oak. A delicate honeysuckle sweetness softens the edges as the warmth lingers, with spicy oak notes carrying into a persistent, refined tail.
