Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a wine-warmed mahogany edge, a rich, sun-kissed hue.

Nose

Smoky pine and light peat rise on a resinous base of tropical fruit, rosemary, cedar and sandalwood. Lapsang souchong tea threads through, while rose petals meet dates and lemon zest. Hints of butterscotch, nutmeg, cloves and ginger add warmth, with summer meadow flowers and fresh-cut grass brightening the frame, alongside malt extract and a touch of burnt heather lingering.

Palate

Velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel. Sweet malty peat smoke meets barley water, sweetpea flowers, and clover honey. Crème brûlée with burnt caramel adds richness, balanced by fennel seed, lemon sponge cake, and dried hay. Lingering oak, a delicate sweet smoke, and a hint of salt with ocean breeze.
