Crown Royal Blackberry is a flavoured Canadian whisky bottled at 35% ABV, combining the brand’s smooth house style with a bold blackberry profile. First announced as a limited-edition release in 2024, it takes Crown Royal in a sweeter, more fruit-forward direction, while still keeping enough vanilla, caramel and whisky warmth underneath to feel balanced.

The blackberry character is the clear focus here, but it is supported by the softer, rounded notes that suit Crown Royal so well. Rather than reading like a liqueur, it keeps a distinct whisky base in place, making it especially well suited to drinking over ice or in simple mixed serves such as lemonade.

Crown Royal was created in 1939 to mark the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Canada. Seagram developed the whisky after hundreds of trial blends, presenting it in a cut-glass decanter with the purple velvet bag that is still closely associated with the brand today. It went on to become one of the most recognisable names in Canadian whisky.
