The gold medal peated single malt Whisky was peat-smoked to 54 PPM at the distillery, the wort was double-distilled using "trickle distillation" the is 50% slower than a traditional process to ensure maximal copper contact for the development of a smoother, fruitier new-make spirit.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Medium peat smoke with wood ash, leather, tobacco, and candied orange. Floral and fruit notes.
Palate
Creamy, very smooth and pleasantly warming, with sweet red wine, demerara sugar, blackcurrant, prune, date, sultana, and honeydew melon.
Finish
Toffee fudge, prefume, floral nectar, a dry malt sweetness, with a hint of salt and lingering smoke befitting an 'island' dram.
