Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Elegant and contemplative, the nose opens with bright orchard fruit—ripe pear and green apple—layered with honeyed vanilla. Sherry influence brings dried fig, raisin and cocoa, while toasted almond, soft spice, and polished oak mingle with a whisper of leather. A time-softened aroma that hints at decades spent in cask, quietly refined.
Palate
Silky on the palate, this Lochside unfurls with red- and dried-fruit depth—cherry, fig and raisin—enhanced by orange zest, cocoa and vanilla. Sherry whispers coat creamy toffee and oak, while a subtle spice and almond lift the mid to finish. Medium-bodied, refined, with a lingering warmth and a long, elegant finish.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with a soft sherried sweetness that gradually fades to toasted oak, fig and orange peel. Spices linger—clove and dried pepper—guided by silky tannins and a subtle nuttiness, leaving a refined, persistent warmth.
