Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper tones and a mahogany-red glow.
Nose
Deep rancio unfolds with warm wood oils and machine oils, a hint of metal polish, and the earthy bite of rough hessian sacks and damp clay—a storied, old-world bouquet that hints at oxidation and seasoned wood.
Palate
Rich and mature on the palate, with oxidative depth weaving through old wood and waxy oils. Savoury yet refined, it offers a quietly resinous, antique character, hints of leather, dried fruit and date, and a long, dry finish framed by polished oak.
Finish
Long and lingering, the finish yields mature oak and earthy richness, with a dry, antique-shop complexity. Subtle oxidative depth and old-wood resin linger, slowly fading into a refined, savoury echo.
