Loch Lomond Inchmoan Island Collection Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 Year Old
Out of stock
Inchmoan also takes it name from an island on the loch of Loch Lomand and like the Loch Lomand Inchmurrin they utilize the straight-necked pot still with this whisky as well as the more traditional pot stills, but peated barley (50ppm) makes up its mash.
A heavily peated style of single malt from the Loch Lomand distillery aged in re-charred American oak and re-fill Bourbon casks.
Loch Lomand distillery is unique in using different types, size and shape of stills at a single distillery to produce four main styles of whisky: see also Loch Lomand single malt & single grain and Inchmurrin)
Plenty to get stuck into here, a sort of Ledaig-esque funky-umami like quality to this lesser known Loch Lomand release.
