One of those unusually rare bottlings we come across from time to time! A 1973 vintage Inchmurrin (lightly peated Loch Lomond) 29 year old Single Malt. This was bottled in 2002 by Gordon and Macphail for their Rare Old range.
A light and peppery nose. Fruity with honeydew melon and acacia honey, cut fruits, berries and winter spice. The palate is medium-bodied and balanced. There are floral notes of petals and apple blossom with cocoa and crème de cacao. The finish is saline, slightly smokey with a gentle malty note. The finish is delicate and clean.
