Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and a warm, sun-kissed glow.
Nose
Intense peat smoke dominates, mingled with medicinal iodine and sea-salt air. Underneath, vanilla and toasted oak from the American oak hogshead provide a creamy sweetness, while hints of leather and peppery spice emerge as the aroma evolves—bold, coastal, and richly layered.
Palate
Intense, heavily peated palate with medicinal smoke and charcoal richness. Vanilla and honey from American oak weave through espresso and dark chocolate, with touches of toffee and caramel. A coastal brine and mineral zing keep it lively, finishing long with warming peat, ash and citrus zest.
Finish
Long, smoky finish with fierce peat that clings to the palate, edged by iodine and sea salt. Dark chocolate, vanilla and toasted oak emerge as the flames recede, leaving a mineral, briny afterglow that lingers with a warming embrace.
