Batch 4 of That Boutique-y whisky company release of Linkwood aged for 11 years.
The label is a reference to the fact that the distillery has been rebuit and added to over the years, just like Trigger from only fools and horses only ever had the same broom for 20 years despite it having had a new heads and handles over the years!
The ever reliable Linkwood is one of my favorite Speyside malts and this is a beauty.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a sun-kissed honey glow.
Nose
Fresh lemongrass stalks lead with banoffee pie, nestled among buttery digestive biscuits and a hint of apple. Flickers of cinnamon underneath lend depth and spice.
Palate
Fizzy oak sparkles through a core of golden barley and butterscotch, with a delicate sweetness carrying the brightness of the malt; a hint of milk chocolate blooms on the mid-palate.
Finish
A buttery finish lingers, carrying black pepper spice and a delicate note of brandy snaps.
