A Ledaig single malt bottled by Cadenhead’s for the Authentic Collection, this 11 year old was distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2017 after maturation in oak. Bottled at cask strength of 61.8% ABV, the release was limited to 450 bottles.
Oak maturation supports Ledaig’s robust island character, where earthy peat smoke, maritime notes and subtle spice are balanced by the distillery’s underlying malty sweetness, creating a bold and concentrated peated expression.

Powerful, coastal and smoky, the palate opens with dense, earthy peat and briny sea notes. A substantial malty sweetness provides ballast, while subtle spice—pepper and clove—lifts the profile. Rich oak adds depth, and the long, warm finish carries more smoke with a marine echo.
