Tasting Notes
Nose
Silky, sun-warmed fruit greets the nose—orange zest, pear and orchard apple—layered with vanilla, beeswax and a whisper of almond. Subtle sherry‑driven fig and raisin deepen the aroma, while toasted oak, honey and spice (cinnamon, clove) add warmth. A touch of cedar and old‑wood polish the bouquet, suggesting a refined, age‑woven Lowlands elegance.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate opens with rich raisin and fig from the sherry cask, layered with honeyed vanilla and almond. Spice—cinnamon and clove—meets dark chocolate and toasted oak, carried by a warm, generous ABV. A long, refined finish echoes oak and dried fruit with a final whisper of spice.
