A very rare 1964 vintage Knockando. Bottled at 24 years old and in a special decanter. This was distilled before the floor maltings at the distillery were decommissioned.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with burnished copper highlights and a honey-gold glow, hinting at rich sherry maturity.
Nose
Aromas of polished oak and sherry envelope dried fig and raisin, orange zest and caramel toffee, with hints of cocoa, almond, and a whisper of leather—an elegant, mature sweetness.
Palate
Silky and fully rounded, the palate unfurls with luxurious dried fruit and sherry-layered sweetness. Notes of raisin, fig, and walnut mingle with hints of orange zest and orchard apple, while roasted almond and a gentle spice (cinnamon, clove) echo the oak. A refined, long finish delivers warmth, cacao nibs, and a final whisper of leather.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with warm sherry tones lingering over refined oak. Dried fig and plum lead, drifting into almond, cocoa and vanilla while a delicate spice coats the palate, slowly fading to a subtly nutty, oak-inflected finale.
