Cask Strength Distillery Bottling

This cask strength expression from Kirker & Greer has been matured for ten years in seasoned Bourbon casks.

Delicious aromas of hot buttered sweetcorn, mature oak, Dolly Mixture and a dash of cinnamon come through on the nose. Immediately there is pineapple on the palate, followed by flapjacks with vanilla ice cream and toffee apples. Oak and more toffee lingers on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep golden amber with honeyed richness and a warm coppery glow.

Nose

Hot buttered sweetcorn, mature oak and Dolly Mixture sweetness lift from the glass, threaded with a dash of cinnamon. A generous, inviting nose that hints at the whiskey’s bold, cask-strength warmth.

Palate

Pineapple bursts across the palate, giving way to buttery flapjacks with vanilla ice cream and toffee apples. Oak lends backbone as toffee lingers, wrapping the finish in warm sweetness and a whisper of spice.

Finish

A long, warming finish of oak and toffee, with the sweetness lingering on the palate and a whisper of spice.
