A new limited release from the Kininvie distillery. Kininvie is basically a still house at the back of The Balvenie distillery. 99% of what it produces goes straight into blends so their single malt offerings are very hard to get hold of. Kininvie whisky has a classic Speyside taste very similar to Balvenie.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with a warm coppery glow and mahogany hues along the edges.
Nose
A rich, sherried bouquet unfolds with dried plum and fig, raisin and date, edged by burnt sugar and toffee. Plum pudding spice—cinnamon and clove—lifts velvety vanilla and polished oak, while subtle orange zest and almond add brightness to a warm, resinous finish.
Palate
Silky, honeyed on the palate with a luxurious creaminess: toffee and burnt sugar mingle with ripe dried fruit—fig, date and raisin—alongside polished oak. Sherry-driven spice, a whisper of orange zest, and a velvety, long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, refined finish with persistent sherry sweetness—dark dried fruit, fig and raisin, layered over toasted oak. Cocoa and spice weave through, fading to a warm, lasting glow on the palate.
