Tasting Notes

Colour

Amber-gold with coppery highlights and a warm, sunlit glow.

Nose

Fresh green apple leads the nose, softening into verdant barley, with creamy vanilla and caramelised sugar lingering in the aroma.

Palate

On the palate, citrus and green apple open with a kiss of pineapple, then deepen into espresso, molasses and chocolate powder.

Finish

A long, warming finish that lingers with rich buttered toffee, black pepper and a kiss of sweet spice—clove, cinnamon and ginger.

The King’s Inch is an award winning Lowland single malt whisky which is distilled and matured in the city of Glasgow. The brand was created by Dr. Jack Mayo and the late Jim Swan. The King’s inch is named after an old imperial measurement of barley. An ‘inch’ was three fat barley corns lying end to end. The whisky is a true Lowland whisky in style, light and fruity with a touch of spice.
