The history of Tullibardine for distilling and brewing is one of the oldest in Scotland; located in Blackford, the gateway to the Highlands.

This is an intensely dark, rich Whisky, with hints of toffee and apples with an edge of cereal notes. On the palate there is vanilla and toffee, abound with dates and spice.

Nose

Dark, glossy aromas of toffee and ripe apples mingle with subtle cereal notes, enriched by sherry influence. Vanilla and dried fruit surface with a whisper of spice, all wrapped in warm oak and a polished, lingering richness.

Tullibardine
(tully-BAR-din) Tullibardine was founded in 1949 by distillery designer William Delmé-Evans in Blackford, on a site with a much longer brewing history that stretches back to 1488, when King James IV is recorded as having bought beer there. It was the first distillery built in Scotland since 1900, later passed through the hands of Brodie Hepburn and Invergordon, and then fell silent between 1993 and 2003 before returning to production under new ownership.
