Tullibardine 1973 is the fifth edition of the prestigious Custodian’s Collection. Drawn from deep in Tullibardine’s cellars that hold some rare and precious whiskies, this edition was produced from a sherry butt that was re-casked in 2014.
Distilled on 29th September 1973, this expression has been aged for 49 years. A classic example of historic Tullibardine at its finest.
On the nose you’ll find a delightful combination of rich caramel, vanilla pods and butterscotch.
Delicate, warm oak spices, toasted oak and caramelised brown sugar intensify on the palate, and the complexity deepens for a sweet luxurious texture. A lingering, creamy and rich finish.
