Kinclaith (silent) Signatory Vintage Whisky 35 Year Old · 1969 Vintage
Out of stock
Another rare Kinclaith and even rarer to find a single cask offering, from a 1969 vintage and bottled by Signatory.
Only 217 bottles released at 35 years of age.
The distillery was only operational between 1957 and 1975, with almost all the production intended for the Long John blends and no distillery bottlings ever released.
Bottlings from the distillery are therefore extremely rare and much sought-after.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper-gold core and a mahogany edge, a sherry-kissed glow that speaks of long, patient cask maturation.
Nose
Opulent, sherried aromas surge from the glass: prunes and dried figs with dark raisin sweetness, woven with orange zest, toffee and soft cocoa. A foundation of polished oak, vanilla, and gentle spice—cinnamon, clove—adds warmth, while subtle leather and tobacco notes lend elegant depth. At 54% ABV, the aroma is bold, poised, and inviting.
Palate
A luxurious, full-bodied palate coats the mouth with velvety sherried richness, balanced by a delicate mineral thread. Dark plum and fig mingle with dried cherry, cocoa and toasted almond, all caressed by spice—cinnamon and clove—against waxy, oak-led warmth. At 54% the mouthfeel is plush and confident, finishing long and elegant with fruit and spice lingering into the afterglow.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with a warm sherry sweetness that lingers. Dark plum, raisin and cocoa give way to spiced oak, leather and tobacco, then espresso and walnut. A gently drying, resinous echo of the cask, refined and enduring—a true testament to Kinclaith’s rare single-cask allure.
