Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany edges and a ruby glow.
Nose
Delicate orchard fruit—green apple and pear—fuses with subtle wax, honey, and barley. A light sherry lift brings dried fruits, almond, and vanilla, with whispers of spice and toasted oak.
Palate
Silky and refined on the palate, Kinclaith 1966 delivers a gentle sherried sweetness with roasted nuts, dark plum and fig, and a bright hint of orange zest. Cinnamon-tinged spice, subtle leather and polished oak weave through a light, velvety mouthfeel, finishing with quiet warmth and poised elegance.
Finish
Long, elegant finish of dried fruits, orange zest and cocoa, with subtle sherry-wrapped oak. Nutty almond and spice drift through, tapering to a refined dry note that lingers softly on the palate.
