It is a special release that brings the best of Japanese whisky making skills to Kentucky Owl’s bourbon range.
The initial wave of buttery rye bread provides a full bodied taste & feel from the start. Across the tongue the savory mix of rye & caramel combine into a cinnamon & caramel sauce to bring out some fruitiness, mostly apple & pear that, all combined, provide a flavourful, pleasant, lasting finish.

Colour
Deep amber with warm copper highlights and honeyed-gold glints, a luminous sunset-hued glow that speaks of toasted rye and caramel.
Nose
A soft, inviting nose of warm, buttery rye bread, layered with caramel sweetness and a touch of cinnamon. Beneath, orchard fruit (apple and pear) emerges, adding a delicate fruitiness that lingers with a comforting sweetness.
Palate
On the palate the whiskey opens with a buttery rye bread richness that gives way to a savory duel of rye and caramel. Cinnamon spice folds into creamy caramel, while notes of apple and pear lift the fruitiness. The texture is full-bodied and polished, with a balanced sweetness that lingers into a warm, lengthy finish.
Finish
Long, warm finish of cinnamon-caramel with rye spice, slowly fading into apple and pear fruitiness. A pleasantly lingering, refined sweetness that coats the palate.
