Confiscated by the Kentucky Owl distillery is a tribute to the long lost barrels seized as part of prohibition, when Kentucky Owl was originally producing before being closed shortly after. With the rejuvenation of the distillery in 2014, this 2019 release is a spice led Bourbon.

Kentucky Owl
Kentucky Owl dates back to 1879, when pharmacist Charles Mortimer Dedman founded the original bourbon business on the banks of the Kentucky River. It was known as “The Wise Man’s Bourbon” before production came to an end in 1916, when Prohibition-era pressure forced the distillery to close and its remaining whiskey stocks were seized.
