Kamiki SAKURA is a special edition of Kamiki ORIGINAL, aged in both Yoshino-Sugi and Sakura casks. This two-step maturation infuses the whisky with the essence of Japanese cedar and cherry blossom wood, offering a rich, warming woodiness reminiscent of Nara’s forests. Subtle notes of sandalwood, gentle spice, and sweet cherries emerge.
Although there is no age statement, the whisky is aged for a minimum of three years in oak barrels, followed by maturation in non-charred local cedar and Sakura casks, capturing the spirit of Nara’s natural beauty in every bottle. Kamiki is the first whisky finished in Japanese cedar casks.

Long and warming, the finish carries Japanese cedar and Sakura wood into the palate, with sandalwood and gentle spice guiding sweet cherry notes. They linger softly, leaving a refined, resinous echo of Nara’s forests.
