Kamiki INTENSE is a bold, exclusive version of Kamiki ORIGINAL, crafted with pure malted barley for a smooth yet complex flavor. While there is no age statement, the whisky is aged for at least three years in oak barrels and then matured longer in non-charred local cedar casks, offering a deeper taste for those who prefer intensity.

The second maturation in Yoshino Sugi (Japanese Cedar) casks imparts a smooth character, with sandalwood on the nose and a crisp green tea finish. Kamiki is the first whisky in the world to feature a Japanese cedar cask finish.

Colour

Deep amber with warm golden-honey highlights and a subtle copper glow.

Nose

Sandalwood and Japanese cedar lead the aroma, softened by delicate oak and a whisper of sweetness. Subtle cedar resin mingles with green tea notes, delivering a poised, refreshing perfume that hints at the whisky’s refined cedar maturation.

Palate

Silky malt coats the palate with a subtle cedar resin and sandalwood undercurrent, evolving into a refined, enduring finish of crisp green tea.

Finish

A crisp green tea finish lingers, carried by the smooth cedar signature from the Yoshino Sugi casks, leaving a refined, lasting warmth.
