Invergordon Murray McDavid Select Grain Single Cask #903159 Whisky 30 Year Old · 1987 Vintage
Out of stock
In the Highlands, on the coast of the Cromarty Firth, Invergordon is the most northerly grain distillery in Scotland. Grain whisky distilleries are rarely seen far from Glasgow and Edinburgh. This spirit has been finished in a luscious Sherry butt, quite uncommon for a grain whisky.
Matured for three decades, this is a fine example of the power and complexity grains offer to the world of whisky. Like many other grain whiskies, Invergordon usually provides the backbone to many famous blends from the Whyte & MacKay stable. A loss to the world of blends is an outstanding win for the single grain aficionado.
