Another really exciting old grain whisky, this time from Invergordon distillery in the north east of the Scottish Highlands. Distilled in 1987 and one of only 250 bottles produced.
A sweet nose of caramel, vanilla and toffee leads to a palate full of cereal flavours alongside honey, green apple, vanilla and spice. The finish is fruity with a slight spicy bitterness.

Fruit-forward to the last, the finish glides with ripe apple and orchard fruit, gently underscored by spice. A subtle, spicy bitterness lingers, keeping the sweetness in check and leaving a warm, refined fade.
