Buttered crumpets with honey, crushed almonds, and vanilla flapjack lead the nose, a warm, comforting sweetness. Subtle orange zest and soft banana waft through, with hints of oily toasted oak and peppered popcorn lending a lively, cask-forward aroma.

Palate

Chocolate coats the palate with peppery spice and crisped apple, threaded with maple granola. The mid-palate offers nutty, toasty notes, while orange zest and soft banana surface toward a long finish, buoyed by oily toasted oak and a hint of peppered popcorn.

Invergordon
(in-ver-GOR-dun) Invergordon was founded in 1959 and began operations in 1961, making it a relatively modern distillery by Scotch whisky standards. Built in the Highland town of the same name, it is unusual in being a grain distillery in a region better known for single malt, and it remains Scotland’s northernmost grain distillery. The site was created to produce whisky on a large scale, and it later became part of Whyte & Mackay in 1993.
