A Madeira-influenced bouquet of orchard fruits, honeyed cereals and chocolate malt, with a subtle echo of sweet oak spice. Rich yet refined, the aroma promises warmth and indulgence.

Palate

On the palate, Madeira-finished Inchgower glides with a rich, velvety mouthfeel. Orchard fruits fuse with honeyed cereals and chocolate malt, a soft sweetness balanced by toasted almond notes. Subtle sweet-oak spice threads through, delivering a warm, lingering finish of vanilla-caramel and gentle spice.

Finish

A long, warming finish of sweet oak spice that lingers with orchard-fruit sweetness and a whisper of chocolate malt, the Madeira-mellowed cask leaving a velvet glow on the palate.

Inchgower
(INCH-gow-er) Inchgower was founded in 1871 by Alexander Wilson & Co. near Buckie, built to replace the earlier Tochineal distillery and using equipment from that site. Its history took an unusual turn in 1936 when Buckie Town Council bought the distillery after the company’s collapse, before selling it on to Arthur Bell & Sons in 1938. Bell’s later doubled capacity in 1966 by adding two more stills, and Inchgower now sits within Diageo’s portfolio.
