The Mossburn Vintage Casks range are a collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies each issuing from a strictly limited and select batch of casks from some of Scotland's most destinguished distilleries.
The Mossburn company of distillers and blenders will soon have a distillery in the Borders and are also the company behind the new and now operational Torabhaig distillery on Skye.
Each numbered release will only ever yield a finite number of bottles.
Releae number 2 is a small batch Inchgower, a coastal Speyside malt aged for 10 years in a refill Hogshead.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with a delicate honey sheen and a whisper of amber.
Nose
Salted toffee, vanilla wafers and white nougat mingle with a touch of clove and charred orange rind. Candied peel, white chocolate and condensed-milk fudge weave a creamy, coastal sweetness.
Palate
Salted nougat, white chocolate cookie dough, almond milk and macaroons mingle with clove oil and pepper, all carried by a waxy, quince-like body.
Finish
Waxy, oily and salty, it lingers with fruity notes of boiled sweets and wine gums, fading into dry spice and barley sugar.
