Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Rich sherry-cask bouquet of raisin, fig and date, with orange zest and caramelized toffee. Nutty malt, cocoa and a hint of leather mingle with oak, delivering a warm, stately aroma that hints at decades of patient maturation.
Palate
Silky on the palate with a sherry-driven sweetness that lingers. Dark fruit compote of fig and prune meets toasted almond, caramel and a shadow of cocoa. Pleasant oak spice threads through, delivering a medium-bodied, creamy texture. The finish is warm and persistent, drawing out dried fruit, vanilla and a subtle leather accord.
Finish
Long and elegant, the finish reveals raisin and fig sweetness over toasted oak, with sherry-cask spice—cinnamon and clove—lingering alongside orange zest and cocoa. It fades to a warm, refined glow, with a final whisper of tobacco and leather.
