A sensational and unusual 2009 vintage single cask bourbon from Heaven Hill distillery in Kentucky. Aged for 8 years and bottled at 63% abv by Copper Monument. One of only 276 bottles.
Fruity with banana and cream, pastry and caramel. A touch of spice too. Big and rich on tehe palate with more honey and caramel, waffles and corn cereal. Spicy and warming on the finish, a drop of water helps to mellow this one a little.

Banana and creamy note lead the nose, entwined with pastry richness and caramel drizzle. A whisper of spice adds warmth, while subtle oak and cereal hints reveal the bourbon’s depth.
Palate
Banana and cream fruitiness wrapped in pastry and caramel, evolving into a big, rich palate of honeyed caramel, waffles and corn cereal textures. Spicy warmth grows through the middle and lingers on a warming finish; a splash of water tames the bite.
Finish
Spicy and warming on the finish, with honeyed caramel and a pastry-like sweetness lingering long after the last sip. The heat persists, but a drop of water mellows it, softening the edge into a smoother, creamy cadence.
