Once the heart of Scottish whisky production, GlenWyvis marks the return of distilling to Dingwall after nearly 100 years. Founded in 2015, GlenWyvis Distillery is one of the largest Community Benefit Societies in the UK, crowdfunded by over 3,600 backers with a portion of proceeds going back to the local community. Nestled amongst the foothills of Ben Wyvis in the Scottish Highlands, the distillery combines modern technology with a traditional process, harnessing renewable energy from wind, rain and sun, while a biomass boiler supplies steam for two small copper stills.

Vanilla fudge mingles with sherbet fizz and pear drops, delivering a creamy, playful palate with a gentle fruit sweetness.

Finish

An opening surge of dark chocolate gives way to a lingering chorus of summer berries, leaving a cocoa-dusted finish that lingers with bright berry sweetness.

(glen why-vis) GlenWyvis is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery at Upper Dochcarty, near Dingwall in the Scottish Highlands. Founded in 2015 by more than 3,000 people, it was created as a community-owned distillery, with thousands of members helping bring whisky production back to Dingwall after the closure of earlier local distilleries such as Ben Wyvis and Glenskiach in 1926.
